Certification as proof of sustainable trading

DIN EN ISO 14001 & DIN EN ISO 9001 certification for Germany, Spain and Austria

The geba Group has been successfully certified in accordance with Norm DIN EN ISO 14001. The official certification took place in November. It underlines how seriously geba, for whom the protection of the environment has always been anchored in company’s principles, takes the implementation of sustainable trading in its day-to-day business activities.

Using the feedback from an objective, external assessment, a system has been developed and perfected, which is both comprehensive and efficient. „The implementation of the certification in all three countries presented a particular challenge as the legislation in Germany, Spain and Austria focuses on differing aspects,“ explained Georg Hecking, the Head of Quality Control and responsible for certification in the geba Group.

At the same time, the certification in accordance with Norm DIN EN ISO 9001 has been renewed. Consequently, geba now has an integrated management system, which covers all areas with regard to quality and environmental protection. In addition, certification in accordance with the Norm DIN EN ISO 50001 will also be carried out this year in Ennigerloh, documenting the sustainable energy management of the full service compounder.
