New extrusion line for geba Kunststoffcompounds GmbH

geba Kunststoffcompounds GmbH marked the opening day of the Fakuma 2017 by signing a contract with Leistritz Extrusionstechnik GmbH for a new extrusion line which will be used for the production of certified specialist plastics.
The new machine, upon which TPU products from the "Desmovit®" range shall be produced, will be installed at the company’s site in Ennigerloh, thus enabling geba to address the increasing demand for glass and carbon filled, as well as conductive TPUs.
For the glass and carbon filled Desmovit® grades, the reinforcement levels are determined in accordance with the customer’s requirements. „Everything is possible between 5 and 50%,“ explains Sven Gnegeler, geba’s Managing Partner. „We offer the customer individualised adjustments with increments of five percent.” Furthermore, the machine has been conceived so that geba can produce the glass-filled and anti-static Desmovit® grades in customised colours. “This way we can provide our customers with a tailored, coloured compound,” adds Sven Gnegeler.
This comprehensive package has convinced geba that their decision to invest in the new Leistritz machine is the correct one. This will be the 20th Leistritz twin-screw extruder to be installed by geba. The other machines are located at the three production sites in Germany, Spain and Austria.
