Circular economy as a fundamental principle
Since its founding, recycling has been an essential part of our DNA. GEBA started as a recycling company – and continues to consistently live the circular economy. Our recompounds are based on carefully selected post-industrial and post-consumer plastics, which we specifically process and enhance with functional additives. The resulting materials are in no way inferior to virgin materials – neither in function, nor in colour, nor in processing properties.
By using high-quality recyclates, we actively contribute to conserving resources, reducing CO₂ emissions and closing material cycles – without compromising product performance.
Certified environmental standards – documented and transparent
We are committed to the highest environmental standards: our production is certified according to ISO 14001 (environmental management) and ISO 50001 (energy management). These standards not only ensure continuous improvement of our environmental performance, but also create trust among our customers – through transparent and audited systems. Upon request, we provide environmental certificates for our materials, documenting the sustainable nature of our products and enabling their transfer along the supply chain
PCF Data & Ecological Transparency
A further step towards transparency is the provision of Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) data. These enable a precise assessment of the environmental impact of individual products – and provide our customers with a solid basis for their own sustainability strategies. Whether in tenders, audits or reporting: PCF values create clarity and orientation. We complement this transparency with concrete measures, including the integration of photovoltaic systems, energy-efficient machinery, an internal material cycle system and CO₂ compensation models
